I ran my stock '91 5.0 against a 240SX with a JDM RB20 at 13psi and he beat me by 1/2 a car. (Also: I never raced before that day and i spun halfway through 1st) Those 240's aren't that fast.

RB20 is from a Skyline GTS-t. It's a 2.0L with one turbo, I think stock boost is around 12 psi. In other words, you raced a car with 220hp.

I try to learn a lot about everything. Ever since I bought my first Mustang at 13 I concentrated on Mustang knowledge. I learned a lot about Fords in general, so by 17 I started doing a lot of import reading, too. It never hurts to know the enemy. I'm far from loyal to any car company. I buy whatever's fast, reliable and cheap. The old saying goes that you can't have all 3, but my RX-7 proved that wrong (reliability is good so far, knock on wood). I'm idling right now..I just have my daily driver, my daily driver's backup, my RX-7 for *some* fun, and my '64 sitting in a barn. Looking at getting a 2007 Civic Si 4 door to replace my DD and backup DD, since it fits the reliability, speed and price quota. Always on the lookout for a cheap F355, too.

If you only concentrate on one car, you never know what you could be missing.

Very true.... for a while I only owned and drove Mustangs through all four of Ohio's seasons ( almost winter, winter, still winter, and construction ). But now that the money is there bought a 2007 Dodge Ram... so it's the DD and I can save the Mustang and hopefully get something else. I'm leaning towards an LS1 Camaro at some point.

Looks like there is gonna be a race, possibly for $100

93lx coupe
-short ram
-headers (bbk shorties)
-x pipe
-cam (its either the e or f303)
-3.73 gears
-subframes
-steeda short throw (tri-ax)
-nitto drag radials

vs

92 240sx
-cold air
-muffler
-80 shot

So what do you guys think?

Believe me, I never thought I would own an Acura. In any event, I now LOVE this car. It looks so nice and handles like a dream. Plus, when I throw on the flywheel, pulleys, header, catback, and re-flasher I will have a very quick car as a DD.

WOW!

I didn't know the RS200 was even a CAR! That thing looks kick ass. I don't think it's ugly at all. I would swerve one all day long.......and possibly into the night.

2.1 0-60 That's ****ing fast!

I remember seeing a story on that car on TV, the Engine has to be overhauled completely after running a VERY short period of time.
