DAMN MY NOVI IS SHREDDING THE BELT ALREADY!

yea, i guess flex could cause more wearing in certain spots. that is not good because flex in the bracket would be hard to fix. the bracket seem heavy duty enough i wonder if the belt is a tiny bit too loose do you think that could cause uneven wear of the belt?

Mine would take out 3 ribs or more. Yours looks good. Being frayed on the side "I" think is normal, but I could be wrong.

yea, its strange because my tuner says that the 8 ribs fray on the sides a bit. if that was the extent of the damage it would be ok with me i guess. i figure the belt would last a while like that and i wouldnt have to worry about snapping it on the highway.

however, i will try to post another pic of the more serious damage. its just a bad cell phone pic but it will give you guys an idea.

just so you guys know, i dont use the rr blower pulley. i use a paxton. i did that because i heard that the rr have a problem shredding belts before i did this whole build. looks like ill be dealing with it anyway.

i guess you guys cant really tell from the pics, but does things looked aligned to you?

my builder says things are def aligned and that is not the problem. He says the problem is something else. he mentioned the tensioner and maybe taking the back lip off of the water pump pulley. i guess he thinks the belt is getting frayed and torn because it is rubbing on the water pump pulley back lip. however, he couldnt explain why it is only doing it is certain spots.
