good dash paint suggestions?... when my air bags blew out, i just ripped new covers out of another car and had them painted with dash paint... but they dont match perfectly with the other slightly sun bleached tan and the paint is beginning to crack where i push for the horn(around the pony and in the corners etc.), so i was thinking of taking them off again and painting them black since its already a two tone interior... does anyone know of good dash spray paint/ dye on the market that will: (in order of importance) a) look good,b) not crack as easily,c) and possible shine with armor all like the rest of my black? any advice is much appreciated as well as opinions on the look of the switch from tan to black on these covers... thanks, kyle

I painted the dash in my fox, I used the most expensive vinyl dye they had at autozone (not real expensive) but I also used an adhesion promoter, its basically acetone in a spray can. supposedly it opens the pores of the plastic and allows the paint to penetrate and all that stuff. I had to paint over the spots that got scratched probably three or four times over a couple years, but after it had that many coats on it I never had a problem. Just follow the directions on the can carefully and you should be ok.
