Our Mustang Club spent the day at the track and really had a great time. Thought you guys would enjoy some pictures. One is off Ed's Bullitt beating a SS Chevelle. Ed turned a 8.9 in the 1/8 mile to beat him.

All of our guys ran really well.

The yellow GT in this photo won it all in the Orangeman Classic. He consistently turned in 8.7 to 8.9 and made our club proud. We were head to head against another car club and Chuck and his GT brought home first place for us. He beat a Chevelle, camaro and 400 hp GTX. The GT is near stock except for tires, air intake and other minor changes, it is also an automatic.

We did make three "solo" runs with the Shelby before the matches started against the other car club. I had not been on a track in 40 years and never on this track so I took it real easy. I also let a good friend who owns a 2006 V-6 mustang take it down the track once. The Shelby has the stock tires on it so we skipped the water and went straight to the line. Chris (the V-6 Friend) did better than me and turned a 8.8, we never opened her up all the way. Next trip out it will have better tires.

We have a really great Mustang Club and always have a great time no matter what we are doing, never met a better bunch of people.

Awesome! I belong to a Mustang Club that does private track rentals several times a year. That is a blast being able to run down the 1/4 mile! Glad a Stang took home top prize that day for your club!
