Electrical Dead Battery Any Suggestions

I got a 331 stroker motor in my stang and this summer it appears the battery I bought in 2006 has finally died its reading 12.3 volts after charging for a few hours but after testing at advanced auto parts it seems the cranking amps were at 120cca so I guess it sulfated and garbage ...

So what are you guys running in your stroker motor setups? I currently have a 850cca Interstate battery in there now which is alot more cold cranking amps as the original suggested for the car which was which is 650 I believe. Is that also bad to go bigger with the cold cranking amperage?
