Dead clock. Common issues?

My 94 has a dead clock. No lights or any signs of life since I bought it. I understand this is pretty common but is there a fix for it or am I just stuck getting another unit and rolling the dice?

There is a non stock radio in the car, but other than that the interior is stock.

Yeah its been pretty common, at least was with the last 2 mustangs I owned, Just replaced the clock and never had a problem again

Mine is dead too. I have a replacement, just haven't had time to figure out how to get dead one off the dash.

Take the palm of your hand and with slightly blunt force, top the front of the clock toward the rear of the dash. It will pop right out. Takes all of 2 seconds.

I do have an extra working clock if anyone needs one.

How muchy? I'd just hate to get one from the junkyard and find out it doesn't work.
