dead cylinder under load

Hi everyone i hope someone can help me Regarding my 02 mustang gt I flushed my motor and radiator on Saturday and changed the thermostat to a 180 but today (Monday) I have one cylinder that dies under load and mild acceleration but idols smooth and cruses smooth any ideas ???

Any codes? Anything get wet during your flushing procedure?

that's what happens when you have a bad coil. Or a cracked wire, or bad plug. Under load there is more resistance at the spark plug due to increased cylinder pressure, so the spark jumps through a crack in the coil or wire rather than across the plug like it's supposed to.

Pull each of your coil packs on the driver's side. I'm willing to bet there is coolant in the spark plug holes.

Happened to me as well. If you spill a bit of coolant when refilling at the thermostat then it goes into the spark plug hole.
