so i found a car for sale that i have seen floating around for a while now. i have always noticed it driving by since it looked like its in great shape, so anyway. is this deal a deal that shouldn't be passed up?

if they can prove that it has 65k orginal miles, and prove that it hasn't been raised like a 4x4... that looks like a good deal.

Get the documentation on the mileage, but at this point if it runs and drives its worth 2 grand. I would be a little hesitant cause I don't really want to mess with carburation.

it runs and drives, saw it at the local trooper baricks at least once a week this summer, im guessing the owner is a state trooper. it would eventually get converted to mass air, may have to deal with a carb for a year or two, but im not worried about that.

I love 82 GT's, If I ever find one in great shape Im buying it. Like said earlier, its worth 2000. If he only asking 2000 for it you could talk him down some.

thats what im hoping because i really dont have $2k to spend until i liquidate some other toys, but i dont want to loose out on one of those deals. i love the 87+ cars, but i think those 82's look bad ass!

That is a sweet lookin four eyed fox. if the floors an strut towers are rust free jump on it. Those front air dams are bringing big money now.

If it's in decent shape I'd be all over that! I was lookin for an '82 originally. I had one in Germany but sold it like a Dumb a$$. A friend gave me a deal on his 87 that I couldn't pass up.
