Anyone know of a good customer service number to call for Ford SVT owners?

I went to my Ford dealer where I bought my 2001 Cobra requesting to cancel my extended warranty. This was on 2 Feb 2004 (Since it is so modded out I figured why keep it, they will probably deny any claims with it anyway.)

They said sure no problem we can do that. So I gave them a copy of the form and they said they will start the process. They said it would take about 4-5 weeks and I will see a credit on my loan account through Ford. Well nothing showed up. So on March 12 I called and talked with the lady that took my form and said, "oh yes we have been working on them and you should see it in your account within 2 weeks. So on Apr 12 still nothing... I have called a couple of times and she will not return my calls.

This is complete BS especially with people who spend 30K on a car!!!

If you happen to have any numbers I can call I would appreciate it!
Thanks,

Is your extended warranty through Ford ? Or one of their other companies they use for extended warranties ? I've been through it recently and I just called the extended warranty place and told them to cancel mine .

Did they fill out a yellow form annotating the actual vehicle mileage? Were you then asked to sign this form? I cancelled the extended warranty on my GT and there is a special form that has to be filled out so they can pro-rate your refund based on mileage. If you haven't done this yet, then they haven't submitted your warranty cancellation.

extended warranty for cobra no good

well I ruined my transmission (broken clutch fork-OUCH!) warrranty company didnt want to cover it because they dont do cobra's, but thats what the dealer sold me so they said I would get the 1999.00 (cost) back not pro-rated, but since I used the tow company to get the car to the dealer they said I had to pro-rate it. that my freinds is :bs:
B-B-B is looking into this. :nice:

fair is fair.

I was going to start a new thread on this but I hope you don't mind me hijacking this one; it relates to warranty. :)

I changed my break pads, routine maintenance right? But now my front left caliper squeaks when I press the break and it happens when not moving; mechanical. I greased everything as well.

So I had dealer look at it and they said it's in the caliper. So I asked if I can have it fixed under warranty and the reply was "Since you changed the pads, it would not be under warranty". I could not believe he is telling this to my face. I paused, stunned...then I said "how does a routine break pad change void my warranty? I'm sure you can see where I'm coming from, I purchased an extended warranty for this reason. So who do I talk to to challenge this?"

He immediately starting to back pedal and said "well we can look at it for you" I asked "for a cost or under warranty" his reply was "well we can work something out to where it won't be a charge to look at it"

WTF? is all this? He's all over the place. They just don't want to do any work under warranty. As if they are trained to avoid warranty work at all possible.
