Dealer Update #2--I Have A Build Date!

Now here is my question--I am having my car scotchguarded and rustproofed for $400 but for an extra hundred I can have the paint protection put on.The sales manager said that it makes it so you dont have to wax your car and also protects from fading.Should I do it just for the heck of it since it's only $100 or should I not even waste my money? Anyone have any experience with it?

If you want to "Scotchgard" your car, buy a couple of cans of upholstery sealant at your local auto store for $10-12 and spray it on your seats for the same effect.

I understand what you are saying about the 5 yr warranty but what about after that? I plan on keeping this car for a long time.As far as the upholstery sealant goes I will look into buying some.Thanks!
