Well in the summer I would just let the kickdown do its job and break traction at around 40 to 50km/h to get the rear sideways a little (on wet roads, my car isn't strong enough for dry YET!). That worked usually since my car makes a lot of noise at WOT (no mufflers
Well today some jerk in a Golf was tailgating me, the roads had some snow or ice on them. I looked to make sure there was no oncoming traffic and no parked cars... Everything clear, I put the AOD into first at 50km/h (RPM at 3000rpm) then I hammer the gas (RPM going up to 5000 something) lol... Well the rear end just broke loose like never before hehe. Of course I control the thing nicely and ready for the curve that's coming... I manage to slide through the curve. Then I look in the mirror, hmmm no more Golf. The little car was real far away and when I reached a red light, it took him a good while to get to me. hahah! He must of thought I was some kind of mad nut case
I can't wait to be able to feel like I'm on ice during the summer. I hope the following will help out a little: 4:10 gears, transgo shift kit, Cobra intake, AFR 165 heads, 1.7 rockers, 65mm TB, 76mm MAFS, electric fan, true duals, underdrive pulleys.... Maybe with that I will finally break traction on dry roads from a roll. I could do that with the Mustang from 55 or 60km/h... it's fun to smell burnt tires and leaving behind some marks while driving by a bunch of parked ricers hehe
