Decent heads for this setup?

i just got mass air on my 88 gt, im looking to get my heads and cam now.

im wondering what heads/cam would be a good combo for me. it is a street car. right now it has: 1 5/8 equal length headers, x-pipe, flowmasters, cobra intake, 70mm tb, 80mm maf, 1.7 rockers, K&N, basically everything besides heads/cam.

in the future im looking to go blown also. what would be the best heads for this setup? i am 17 so i dont really have the money for AFR's or anything highend.

im thinking some edelbrocks or possibly thumpers are my best choice? teamed with an E cam?

just want something thats a good application for a street car, looking to make a little over 300 rwhp, nice loping/rough idle.

Edelbrock Perf. RPM with the tfs stage 1 cam.
I think a better setup for a little more would be tfs track heat heads and a comp cams XE270HR cam.

i have a chance to get a good deal on the edelbrock performer heads, so im kind of leaning towards them if they are worth it.

ill look into the comp cam. thanks
