Decision time....???

I need help with this one. I only have 5g's to spend right now. My 93 needs a new tranny, so I am looking at a t-56 for around 4g's or a TKO for around 3.5 g's for complete kits. Now I also know where ther is a 91 GT (roller) , rust free unlike my 93's undercarriage, for a grand. Now I love my 93, but know there is some major work in my future, so I would love to swap my rearend, motor, turbo and other equipment to the 91. I couldnt part with my blue GT, so I need to figure up what it will cost to fix third in my t-5 and get another 5.0 motor for old blue. Any suggestions on the cheap way out, or the way to go on the trans?

If you're going to do a swap.....why not find a clean 4cyl car for under a grand?? Then you get all your goodies and 4cyl insurance registration and rates! And why not save some coin and get a Z tranny or another high performance t-5? that's what I'd do

Really dont want to mess with the 4cyl conversion. The current motor in my 93 is putting out over 500ftlbs of tourque. It limits my manual trans options, more so if I ever get to building the motor I want. The 91 has fallen in my lap and would be less money in the long run, so I would like to swap parts over to it, but would want to keep the 93 as a DD.
