deck surface cleaning

About to clean the deck surface on my block for the nnew fel pro head gaskets and reinstalling my heads.

what do you all recommend to use to clean it off? razor blade? shoot me what you think is best.

Razor blade works fine just do not dig the surface scotch brite can also be used, then a final wipe down with brake clean.

Angle Grinders work wonders. Forget that wussy scotch brite crap!!!

JK!!!

I always use a razor blade, my fingernail, and finally brake clean.

If you use the angle grinder make sure you keep it flat so that you have an even surface.
