is there any specific mid-pipe+tail-pipe set up for some pretty low dollars...that will be distingtively louder than stock but not too attracting, while haveing a nice deep really throaty sound at the light? like just hearing it like gargle or whatever at the light?

or would headers be a must?

The ONLY way to get the gurgle sound is with a different CAM if we are talking about the same sound. Exhaust mods really don't changed the idle sound much. You can always increase your idle speed, but I highly recomend against it as it will screw a lot of things up.

A good catback will wake the car up when you are reving a little.

cuz im looking for a nice rumble at idle...not necessarily like that crackling and gargling. If i had to compare it to any other type of exhaust, i would say (since im really dfamiliar with the f-body sound) have it rumble like GMMG or Corsa cat-back, but since its a mustang it would sound better but i think that explains what kid of rumble im looking for

I thought that EXACT same thing.

Only on a Mustang site can you have the words deep and throat and it not mean sex.
HAHA we're all perverts, cause you know all of us thought that at the moment we read the thread title. Back on topic, o/r h's usually give a deep tone.

I installed Mac Prochamber on my car witch already had Magnaflow cat back few days ago. Its deep. and throaty, and hollow(is only way I can explain it). Way old muscle car sound in the way, but not really. Way better then BBK O/R X was on my car. I've been getting all kind of comploment, even from Chevy monkeys!!

well considering here in IL we have Emission controls...and we need Cats....sucks very much dont ya think? is there and X-pipe/H-pipe with removeable cats?...or is there a cated midpipe thatll give me a GREAT sound with Magnaflows
