Deep Dish Bullitts are on

He tried to use the 3/4" spacer and the wheel would rub. If it was an 18" wheel it would clear. I was looking at it today and it would take some grinding to use less than the 1" spacer.

Well I am not experienced in the field of IRS cobras but I know my eyes are not fooling me and guys have made it work. That's what I would be doing.:)

Yup, you're right, they can fit with just a 7/8 or no spacer at all. They have to be 18" though. The IRS bolt isn't my problem, it is the inner knuckle that I would hit.

I thought about grinding it down, but the back of my car sees plenty of flex so I didn't want to sacrafice too much integrity back there.

Paul and Jon pulled the rear rubber bumpers off the top and bottom of my rear springs, which dropped it about 3/4 - 1" more in the back. When the back dropped, it pulled the wheels up and in more. They just sit right at the edge now, but not nearly as much as before. I rolled the wheel well lip a little to help give me a little more room, but since it is right at the edge, I don't think it will help much.

*wipes drool*
I've been to that guys house :) My moms taurus was parked RIGHT where that cobra is, but backed in ricer style. I have his old wheels I hope they fit on my car. =/ Wont matter, cuz I dont have money for some 315 rubber anyways. I have front tires though. Off my dads vette.

Usually I'm not too crazy about that style wheels, but that looks really good. I wish you would've been there to take me for a ride in that beast, but your damn errands lol. Thanks for the sweet deal on the wheels man
