For the sound you describe...I myself, just couldn't be happier with my (hopefully) torque improving catted H pipe with Delta 40s, turndowns and all pipe in 2-1/4" size!

It is very deep and fairly quiet when laying low, driving easy, but no mistaking the fact that there is a potent automobile coming! Whenever you want you just get into the throttle a little bit and the sound becomes high horsepower personified! 4000-5000 rpm on the freeway in 4th is just V-8 music to my old ears.

Wide open thottle...and some rpms...and they scream...not like a Ferrari scream...more like a WELL tuned American V-8 pounding the pavement!

Okay, I may have gotten a little dramatic there...but it is the truth.

And I just LOVE the slight, deep burble sound they make when decellerating in gear...great in-car atmosphere.
