I ordered a Taurus 3.8L electric fan off ebay, and now I am about to order a DCC. Which controller should I order? 35 Ampere, or 60 Ampere? I will be running this fan with a 130 amp alternator.

I wanted to know this too. I think Yount said the fan only pulls like 10 amps or something, but lets get some confirmation

I use the FK35 in the hot South Florida weather and the Taurus 3.8 fan. No problems. Just set the temp of the controller slightly higher then the thermostat.

I have a nearly new FK35 Ill let go complete for $85 plus shipping, it has only seen maybe 50mi

Mr. Baskin recommends the 35 amp version for the Taurus fan, and the 60 amp for the Lincoln Mark VIII fan.. I've run the FK-35 for 4-5 months with the taurus fan.. no problems.
