I installed my DeMolet CAI Saturday, and with the accompanying XCalII, installed the 93 octane tune. Now, my idle is set too high. Anyone else run into this?

I didn't look to see if there were any user adjustable paramaters when I loaded it, are there? Would the "fix" be found there?

Mr. DeMolet indicated he was heading out on vacation this past Friday, so until he gets back, I thought I'd ask the question here first.
Great product and service so far!!

I have the same setup yes you can adjust about 10 parameters prior to installing the tune, my idle is set at 850
BTW my demolet w/89 tune loaded and udp made 32rwhp on the dyno!

So...
I got into the re-tune. The idle was already set at 850 (drive) and 750 (neut.). Dropped both 100. Feels better. Did I mention the auto tranny? Anyway, when I was coming to a stop, it was harder to stop than before, and just before complete stops, the auto would dis-engage, and the revs would bounce up about 100, then drop back to idle. Still doing it, but less annoying. Should it?

Would a Brenspeed tune (planned on getting) make this all a moot issue? Better tune, tested, less need to fuss?

I enjoys SOME fussing, now and then, but pulling the fuses, and just guessing around seems silly, if someone will sell me something that rocks, out of the box. Busy as we all are these days :-)

Cheers!!

I'm glad you got that adjusted ok. Make sure you don't go too low on an automatic which can cause the dipping of the RPM when returning to an idle under load. The computer will also take around 50 miles to completely adjust to changes/reflashes so let this setting seat-in for about a week and if there are still any noticable negative idle irregularities bump it up 500 rpm.

Thanks again for the business!
