Im buying some parts from a guy that traded in his 01 GT, and he has a MAC Cold Air that i could get for like 50 bucks. Is it worth it to wait and get a Densecharger, or go ahead buy the MAC and use it until i get the Densecharger. Hell I could just keep the MAC on there, but ive heard so many bad things about the chrome intakes. I had a powdercoated AEM on a Honda and it didnt hold heat......but it wasn't chrome. Any ideas??? Thanks Andy.

though $50 is a good deal for a pOs cai. I'd hold off and get a K&N Gen II FIPK if you're seriously contemplating a CAI.

I'd say hold out for the densecharger. I made the mistake of buying the bbk chrome cai. It got really hot while driving, I don't see how hot air has any benefits, eh I was a noob back then.

off topic-kappaball where in the yay areyou from?

What's the differences in the K&N System and the Densecharger. Ive heard nothing but good stuff about the Densecharger but not much about the K&N.

saw a dynograph on a bullit GT showed only a 2.4rwhp gain with the densecharger. then i see another bullit with a 7.8rwhp gain. BAH. Get whatever is cheaper.

Went from the Mac CAI after MAF to a full densecharger system. Also got John from densecharger to send me a 95mm pro-m maf bench flowed for my bullitt. All this in a kit from demolet motorsports.

BIG time SOTP improvement! Total package looks awesome see pictures on www.densecharger.com. I don't mean to babble but the product was great as well as the service.

Total package including maf........340.00 and well worth it. Also dyno sheets available on website for stock bullitt with this system, read the black and white man, i did and i'm still grinnin.

MAC is garbage. The only thing it does is heat the intake air. The damn things acts like an oven. Densecharger's MUCH better

Im gonna get the full length with the carbon fiber upgrade just for something different. I dont think im gonna get the MAF though. Everyone has told me they make power by leaning you out..... Lean condition with forced induction is bad... I sprayed on my old car... Im glad i had wet... Heh.
