Desktop Dyno Results

well i found this program and plugged in all the info of my shortblock 351 and added the heads i wanna get for it... i dont doubt the results too much because calculating horsepower is basically all a math equation.... ill probly keep playin with it to find the best combo of parts

Yeah I have had great results with using Destop Dyno. We built a 350 for my neighbours friend and it said 450hp, the engine dyno said 450hp. Then Rob at work built a 454 and it said 350hp, and the motor dynoed at 350hp.
 
You need to have exact information and it can be pretty good. I enterred my friend's setup and I was only 5hp off from the real dyno. He didn't believe me or the software at all because he was expecting to see at least 50hp more than what DD had found.

This is true, you do need to know what you're doing as far as the flow rates and everything goes.
