im adding a supechager to my build up, a T-trim/YS-trim/D1. Not sure yet, but i wanted to know if anyone makes a destroked crank for the 351w, as i want to rev her to 7500rpm, and a 383w stroker mite only hold up to 6500-7000, this will be in a 2-3 day a week/daily driver/strip car. :D

First what rod and piston are you running, what year block, deck height?

I would not stick a $500 dollar crank in that motor, hope you have a good block....

its a 72 block or a 73 i forgot, but its a 9.503 deck, ive been reading mike stars web page http://www.toohighpsi.com , he pushes 700-900+ out of the stock 72-89 blocks, so i was hopeing for 650-750 fwhp, then up grade after 3-4 years when i save up for a dart block and up the boost and make 800-1000 fwhp. i dont have pistons or rods im looking to get a 8.0:1-8.7:1 on 58cc chamber heads, H-beam rods 6.125 or bigger.
Rick do you sell any destroker kits , crank, rods, pistons?
What do you recomend?

Why don't you spin the motor less and add more cubic inches?
It is a lot easier on the parts and tons cheaper compared to parts made for 7500+rpm.
I cant imagine 700 fwhp to hard to get with a 393-427 stroker and some 12+psi of boost.?
Just my opinion.

So you want strong parts but do not want a large cube stroker.............
you got it.

i want to do something diffrent, and i know a YS-trim blower hooked up to a 351w makes over 100ftTq more then a 306, when built the same. so i would have more Tq then 285 street tires can handle, i do plan on takeing the car to the strip, but dont want to put in a cage so, ill just baby it down the track.
Im still tossed up 351w, 383, or destroked, but i was tossing a destorker cus i havent seen anyone with one, mabey bigger is better, but diffrent mite be cool too, plus turning the rpms way up would be cool.

Whats the lowest compression piston for a 383 with 58cc chambers, im trying to keep cr. down under, 8.5:1, so i can turn up the boost, and all the stroker kits are no lower then 9.0:1 with 58cc heads...

I can get pistons to drop the compression down, getting down that low isn't an issue...depends what brand of pistons you want.

I just sold a 408ci kit and the compression will be in the neighbor hood of 9.3:1-9.5:1 uses a 12.5cc dish SRP piston.
