Determining If I Have A Missing Canister Purge Solenoid.

In that case

50 degrees F = 58.75 K ohms

Don't stress out about exact value. Just see if you are in the ballpark. WHen those sensors fail, they fail either open or are waaaay off.

I'll pull my canister wiring apart later and take pics

Thanks a ton man, just needed some concise instructions, took a minute and I have now confirmed the sensor is fine. Back to the purge canister solenoid, will be looking forward to hearing how yours is set up!

That harness is missing on your car....it plugs in by the ect sensors and runs down beside fuel rails and over the purge solenoid.

I looked up an 88 mustang 5.0.... Purge solenoid harness and Bam!!! There it is [emoji14]

I thought I gave a pretty good description of what to look for in post #4, guess I need to learn how to post up pictures, now where is that damn grandkid?
They get a laugh when I ask how to do something like that.
