Triumph...I'd love to get a Rocket III!

http://www.triumphrocket.com/

"Triumph claims 147 ft.-lbs. of torque at 2,500 RPM and 140HP at 5,750 RPM for the oversquare fuel-injected mill. All this power should give the 704-pound (dry) juggernaut a 0-60 time of around 2.8 seconds, and a 0-100 time of just over 7 seconds.Power is laid down through a five-speed gearbox, shaft drive (a first for Triumph) and an impressive 240/50-16 rear tire.Stopping the beast are twin 320mm discs and four-piston calipers from the firm's Daytona 955i sportbike in the front, and a 316mm disk with a twin-piston caliper out back."

Those things are sick. I heard that someone makes a turbo kit for the rocket, I think at that point it might actually BE a rocket. 2.3 Litre 3 Cylinder with a turbo...
Wow

Yeah Ill probably be around the boards alot more this year. Im moving to Columbus Ohio in about 3 weeks or so and I wont have my car to use for the next few years. I think board hopping and going to the gym at school will be about the only hobbies I will have for a while. This summer I spent so much time using my Harley that I never even looked at the car after I blew up the clutch. The bikes way cheaper and doesnt break down so much.

Hey all. Summer is right around the corner, but be patient, I still got a few more months of snowmobiling left Fockers.

Hey Dale, why don't you LOAN me the Vortech since you're not going to be using it for a few years.

LOL Its been on the car for so long, I dont think I would know how to put it back together to make it stock. I Cant believe how much that car has really been taken apart, I think the engine is the only piece that hasn't been out of the car.

I just got my bike loaded up on the trailer to go to Florida friday. Can't wait to ride into daytona. I wish I had taken a picture of it. Its quite the engineering marvel to see how we got 2 huge bikes on this little trailer.

What have you been up to Jay? Did you already leave Ford? Ive been retired for a few weeks now and its actually kind of boring. Those bastards still haven't paid me for my last week of work and all my leftover vacation time too.

We could always just swap engines.

I was in Daytona with the wife (we were just dating then) during Bike Week back in 97 or 98. Actually we were staying in Orlando but we drove to Daytona to check it out. Ass less chaps and thongs everywhere. Hopefully you'll have some pics to share with us.

I'm still at Ford for a few more months. I signed up to take the buyout on 8-1, but I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to take it or not.

Not suprised that they havn't paid you. I don't know how many times my pay has been screwed up. And people wonder why Ford is going down the $hitter. Always want to blame the UAW, :Zip2: but they have no clue how F'd up managemnt is.

Jacked up my car on Saturday, changed oil. Pushed it out in the driveway, started right up. Cruised the neighborhood with the top down. Now it is back in the garage - waiting for a decent rain to wash the salt off the roads.

I knew you couldn't resist the sweet music that the prochamber makes.

I still like the o/r H pipe and flows combo that my neighbor down here has. I guess you got sick of it.

On a side note, I just bought a new stable so I have a place I can install junk in my Stang. I'll have to post pics of the new crib.

You guys need to come down here and drive your stangs all year round. Hell, a few of my family members are trying to relocate with all the FoMoCo bullchit going on. The only problem is that no one is buying homes up there, so it's hard to escape.

Unfortunately, mine doesn't get put away for the winter. But thank God I only have to drive 4 miles to work. 1 more winter and I'll have the Stang and My truck paid off and then the Stang will be put away for the winters. I told the wife when both of the vehicles are paid off she gets to pick what ever she wants to buy next.

Nice kill. I was next to an S197 on 59 Sunday drying the car off after the car wash, but he didn't want no part of this guy. The sound of the Flows (and being able to hear my gear) makes people think twice about wanting to run em I guess.

Yep, Flows and Pros for teh win! Flows, Pros, and Ho's

I like the sound of my BBK o/r H from outside the car, but I can't stand that "rocks in the can rattle" that sounds like an exhaust leak form inside the car.

Sweet,

To hot down there for this white boy.

You gonna make it back up here anytime this year SteveO?

NMRA and Pinks are both at Milan this summer and not to mention this year is the 200th anniv. of Woodward so I bet this years cruise is going to be off the hook.
Hope to see ya there bro.

You still owe me Dinner.

I haven't checked in for a while. I was lucky enough to enter my car for the for the dragracing television show: PINKS All Out when it comes to Milan Dragway on Saturday June 30th.

350 cars were signed up and all spots were gone in less than 15 minutes...

Now you'll have to get used to the hissing sound under your feet as the exhaust gases pass through the chamber.
