Hey everyone, im a newbie haha, w/ a Mustang Gt 02, i was going to get 4.10gears and a K&N filter, now to the diablo i read that you get increased HP, n torque, but since my car is completly stock execpt the gears n filter i was thinkin to buy, could i buy the chip now and would it matter if i later on instaled other things or would i have to buy a new chip again for it to be customed to the new stuff? or could i just reconfigure it?

i have one that i will let you have for cheap..only had it on my car for around 1000 miles befor i got nitrous and had to remove it. You can send it in to be reflashed for cheap. Right now its programmed for 4.10 gears, offroad exhaust, advanced timing..ect. PM me if your interested.

not only that dude....even if he buys he has to get it reburned either way even if he has those mods....they have to match his computer code....trust me i know because i have a red diablo chip right here in my drawer and im getting it programmed by www.socaldiablo.com he is suppose to be real good at it :)

Just as an FYI - you guys are aware that Diablo dealers don't do their own programming or write their own files? They take your information - modifications and computer code and search the dealer database for a file that matches. If they find one that is a match it's reasonably inexpensive to have your chip re-burned. If not, it's what they call custom programming - this means they have to send your information to Diablo and have the guys at Diablo write the file and put it in the database.

There seems to be a misperception about what some Diablo dealers do. My understanding is that Diablo is working on something new (at least to them) called Revolution - which will give dealers/tuners the ability to write their own files.

I talked to a dyno shop today that recommends Diablo and they are trying to get setup with the process that GT2000JAY mentioned. I can't wait!!! BTW I am also looking for a used chip or a really good deal on one as well. I'm planning ahead for cams, gears and blower.
