It is real easy, you can down load the software free from diablo. You will need a RS232 cable and a power adapter. Was you have this and you have your laptop hooked up it is pretty much intuitive.
I, and it seems many people have had trouble with baud settings...on the Diablo and on the PC. I got it to work finally, but it was trial and error and wasn't the setting that Diablo had said to use.
This website sells the cable and power supply but they also tell you which ones you need if you want to buy it at Radio Shack. For $32, I'd go with them.
