03 Gt Auto Modified Diablo Tune hits the Rev limiter before it will 1-2 shift at WOT. Whats going on? My 1-2 shift point is set at 5550 rpm. WOT Shift firm is set to max and TQ Mod is off. Tranny Fluid is likely old. Any ideas?

it looks like you have gears but just slighty lower than stock try setting the shift point lower. i have mine set at 5000 RPM with 4.10's........do a tranny flush along with a trans cooler

I had the same problem with my auto and the tuner. I ended up lowering the shift points until it shifted at 5800-6000 at WOT, anymore higher RPM's with out engine mods is a waste. Find a abandoned road and run the car then tune until it shifts the way you want it.

You need to datalog to be sure where its actually shifting. Setting the shift point at 5800 means the computer calls for the shift function at that RPM, it doesnt necessarily mean it will happen then. Gears and extra horsepower change how fast the RPMs are climbing, so it might rev higher than normal before the gear change actually happens.
