Did a little something to the car

Well step 1 is complete. Was fairly simple getting GT off the fender.

After GT removal

Does that 4.6 badge use the existing holes or simply cover them? Does the GT badge just stick on or bolt on?

I'm not a huge fan of the GTA badge but the blue 4.6 looks fantastic.

The 4.6 badges use adhesive only so I positioned them to cover the 2 existing holes. The GT badge uses adhesive only(no bolts). I used a credit card to slowly work under the badge then start lifting it up. It took some time as to not crack them(maybe about 2 minutes per side).
The 4.6 badges are only about 1/2" longer and taller than the GT badge. Looks are definitely deceiving there. When I got them in the mail I was like, "Wow these things are going to be huge on the fender!" I was tempted to paint them to match, but after I put them on I like the contrast.
I got them from Late Model Restoration Supply(www.50resto.com) for $9.95 each...MUCH less than repairing the holes and repainting the fenders(that will get done when I get my new hood and painted racing stripes years down the road).

Just got my GT A emblems yesterday. Now the deal is what to do about the vinyl stripes. The directions say the temperature needs to be no lower than 45 for a 48 hour period after the application process. I don't want to wait for Spring!!!!! What to do???? I would love to put them on myself, but I have no heated garage to do this in. Any suggestions?????
