Im not sure if there is an "iMax" theatre in your area, but here where I live, that movie is being shown on those screens. Worth checking out.

There's a little mythology in all Greek history... they were probably included because the writers found similar stories in their research. I seriously doubt that was completely from Hollywood's imagination. There were so many lines in it that I've heard word for word from my professors. Was a great movie.

As for the spoilers... for the second one, c'mon man. We all know he doesn't die there. And what happens stays in line with a quote from Leonidas from earlier in the movie. And I doubt that dude on the horse got away. Showing him die would have taken away from the other important thing that happened, though.

I seriously found the movie flawless. I'm the kind of person who can never really answer the question "what is your favorite movie?" Now I can. If you haven't seen it, go see it. And if you are still interested after seeing it, like helty said, read up on it. Very cool stuff.

I didn't read up on any of it beforehand, just commenting from an entertainment point of view.

If you have the chance to see it in an IMAX setup...GOOOOO, so much better than a crap theatr, Here in Cali its like 20 bucks but worth every penny..!!!!

everytime i've tried to see it, its been sold out. thats good enough for me; plus everyone i know who has seen it said it kicked ass. even the gals said they enjoyed it as well.

The gals loved it because there were tons of sweaty, ripped dudes! I cant believe those guys. Not being gay or anything, but they were sooo ripped lolol

I noticed that too. I was thinking what type of workout/diet regime they put all of them on to get those abs. They weren't necessarily ripped IMO, but they all for sure had very pronounced 6packs.

This thread just turned gay too by the way...
