This is for sale locally and not sure if they were an actually aftermarket option for mustangs.

REDUCED!!! Rare, factory 289 302 351W Dual 4V intake system

I asked for date codes etc. and got the following response.

"There are no part numbers on the COBRA intake, this is quite common for original stuff. The carbs are Carters and each are date coded 3J3 part number 4758S."

They might be a neat buy regardless, but wondering on authenticity.

It's not going to fit a 351W without custom spacers.

Next question, worth it or spend my money on newer intake and carb? Heard these can be a pain to drive/tune.

The only reason for the 2 carb setup is the "wow" factor nowadays. There's not much of a benefit to running two carbs over one in my opinion. I say get yourself a nice Weiand or Edelbrock intake and a carb to match and you can put the other $200 elsewhere.
