A few months back I ordered and recieved (was told from "dave"at socalstangs that it was off an 89 mustang) an "89" tilt steering colum from Socalstangs to replace my 90 non-tilt airbag version ....it didn't come with a colum cover.....well I found, ordered and recieved a cover/shroud here on stang net from one of our fine members to go on this "89" colum(he sent pictures comparing the differences between the 88-89 vs. my 90 and I believe our guy) but, it will not go on the "89"steering colum that i spent 150 bucks for from socalstangs....my car is a 90 gt and I understand that my airbag model coum cover want fit it either....
I've emailed the guy and I've called him and he will not reply or answer.....yet.
My question is, did dave send my what he had laying around cause the 89 cover(roundish on the small end... and kind of square on the end facing the dash)no matter how i look at it ..it will not go on.
