Just picked this 86 capri GS up for 400. 4cyl 4spd manual. pwr locks and windows. PERFECT INTERIOR (except the headliner in the rear) sunroof (with storage bag) Its red with a little rust in the quarters. 157,000 miles. I think i did pretty good. Cant wait to get a 5.0 in it...well lemme know what you all think...

Wow...these days buying a Capri shell for 400 bucks is a good deal. You made out like a bandit.

wow it even came with the Mustang GT/Capri RS cool looking interior, throw a set of GT seats in there and that part is done...

well, i already have a 302 block, rebuilt heads, a summit rebuild kit and a t5 tranny and bellhousing. so i'll probably go with that, 2" drop, 17's and some flat black treatment. I have plenty of time to think about. I already have oo many projects going. but oh well i couldn't pass it up.. they were askin $700, which i thought was even a good price. When i offered $400 she didn't even think about it she just handed me the keys... so i probably could of got for $350, but hine-sight is 20/20

Yes, youre pics are working. Nice car. I saw one here for $350 and it didnt look bad driving past, but theres no tellling how bad it was. I didnt stop to look, but I thought about it. I have no room for another car.

Yeah i know what you mean, my roomates are already giving me shiit for buying it. There's four of us and now 9 Vehicles.. Parking space is disappearing.

Since this post is already goin... does anyone know where i can find more info on capri's... like production numbers and such. Any websites that you know of where capri people hang out.. just wonderin. I really don't know much about capris.

Nice find. In that condition i have to consider that a major SCORE! Capri's make awsome rides and i think they are just too cool. Check out www.foureyedpride.com and the forums there for some good info on production #'s and more. They even have a forum just for capris. Very nice!
