Does anyone know what the difference between the Fox 5.0 headers and the SN95 headers is? Is it just the tube for the smog or what?

If this is true, then why couldn't I use a Fox H Pipe on my 94? I went to order one and they were out of stock on 94/95 H pipes, so I asked if a Fox one would work and they said it would not. Something about the collector flange being in a different spot.

No hijack intended...sorry

h pipe for shortys?????

And also this depends on what company you speak of. Not every company uses the same primary tube "paths" for the design of their long tubes. Accufab for instance uses a design that will work on fox and 94-95's....but mac wont. The clutch fork comes out of the 94-95 bellhousing at a different "time"...call it 7 o'clock...where as the fox is 9 o'clock.

So it depends. Your best bet is to search.

I purchased Fox GT40 P headers from Ford Motorsports. They fit great, but I will have to have custom exhaust work done up to the header flange.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

Not sure about the collector flange, but I know the hangers are different.

when you say fit, do you mean they went in without a hitch or they went in with some work?

My SN-95 offroad H-pipe bolted right up to my FMS GT40P headers with great fitment, just like stock. Dont know why you would need to get custom work done

took a while to get them in but they fit. didn't have to break or relocate anything but it was a bear getting the passenger side in there.

Dont waste your time, from what ive read they arnt worth the headaches. They only make a minimal power difference. And im thinking that you will have serious issues trying to get the foxbody ones in your SN

I just put a set of MAC 94 351 headers in my '94 and they went alright (put em in from the bottom) The drivers side is right up against the inspection cover for the shift fork on my trans though.
