are the fender extentions(the piece between the front tire and bumper cover) differnt from 87-89 vs. 90-93? im lookin to buying one from an 87 lx to fit my 91 lx, are the fenders different there?
Yeah I wonder what the difference is too. Anytime I look up replacement fenders, they have ones for 87-89' and 90'-93', what gives? Are there any difference between the lx and gt fenders as well or not?
I was under the impression that the only difference between the 87-89 and later versions were the inner fender liner itself. From what I remember they differed slightly to reduce tire rub when sharp cornering was performed. Either way, I'm sure the difference isn't that much as I have mixed and matched parts from all years to convert the front end of my GT, to LX and have had no issues with fit or finish.
