So I got a new old Ford passenger side fender, and it doesn't have a hole to mount the antenna to. I would like to not mount the antenna to the fender, because I like the way the car looks without it. Where else can I mount it, I would like to not be able to see it at all. I was thinking about mounting it in between the headliner and the roof. Assuming I can make it fit without making the headliner look like crap. But do you guys know if I will get any reception since it will be sheilded by the roof of the car? Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Mario

I don't remember where I saw it, but there is at least one company that sells an antenna that mounts inside the car out of sight. It's definately an aftermarket antenna so it should work with any kind of car and audio setup.

My dad has a 2001 Grand Marquis, and it comes stock with an antenna that's mounted in the rear window or something like that. The reception isn't bad at all, and the car definately looks better without the metal rod sticking out of the body panels.
