Different type of spout connectors? Setting Timing.

I swapping EFI to my 289 and have most of my parts. I was doing a little more research on EFI, setting timing, and I discovered the spout connector on my harness is different that the one in this write up:

mine is a plug, nothing to disconnect.

The connector itself does not matter much. You can even delete the connector and use a switch instead.

BTW, it looks to me like that FFI method would work just the same as the conventional SPOUT connector.
