Just got my differential rebuild kit in from summit and I'm wanting to get it installed sometime soon. Anyone know how to put one in? Was reading up on it and it seems that you should really know what your looking at (unlike myself) before jumping into it.... Any suggestions??????

Dood, take it to AFP or Brad's. I think you won't be let down by their worksmanship. I took mine to AFP, and they rocked!

Well, I am not completely sure, but I can imagine it is cheaper than having to do gears and rebuild the rear end.

if you're not doing gears it's EASY, any man with standard mechanical knowledge can do it in 3-5 hours working slow...the hard part is the S spring, i ended up using vice grips and a big hammer! all you have to do is remove the differential, rebuild then put everything back where it came from, no setting up gears or anything...i might make it sound easy, and it is..definately not worth the cost(for me anyway) to pay someone else to do my job. pretty self explanatory once you get started

I got mine done for 200 bones. Complete bearing and seals, new carrier, 3.73. It was a hook up but you could see. Place was called Lyles hotrod, and he was right off portland ave. on 512. I just dont have his number but I'll be seeing him soon.

I have done it a few times and could help you do it next saturday at my place, but you would be doing some of the easy stuff.
