well I was on the BMW forums are they are some of the lest knolageabol people ever they are saying that all solid axles are locked diffs and the only way to have an open diff is to is to have an independint suspension. thats what all of them belive too its pretty weird

yeah that's most definitely not true. Ill send them an open carrier to prove it.

I tried my luck in the BMW forums, but i've had it... if they can't answer your question, they reply with "take it to the dealer" or something retarded like that..

And your right, there are tons of solid axles which are open diff's.. hence the one wheel peel from 4/6cyl stangs/rangers/minivans etc.

I thought the fact of the matter was that most knowledgeable owners of solid-axle-equipped vehicles was to get rid of the one-wheel spin associated with all the open carrier differentials in most of these vehicles?
