Alright, Ive tried to stop oil from getting into the intake by using an oil catcher from home depot along with a new PCV valve and hose and yeah its catching oil alright but when I stomp on it hard( against a Charger) she blew oil all over the headers and the dipstck was out of the tube 1/2 inch.So.. I figuered the set up was causing too much pressure , not enough flow at high RPM. and I removed it. it s doing the same thing, I got a NAPA PCV valve and it looks kind of small to me so I callad FORD and orderd a PCV valve and the screen cause I took mine out a long time ago, think that will help?, if not WTF?

Did you do a compression test on your engine? You could just be getting some massive blowby that's causing you crank case pressures to build.

If a comp. test comes out ok...then look at getting a new aftermarket dipstick.

good luck

FWIW, I changed head gaskets and while my parts where on the shop floor some one stepped on the dipstick tube and bent it so I got a new one from Ford,as far as comp. check last time they were all in the 145 to 150 range that was in August but Ill do another one today to be sure, after I pick up my PCV valve and screen.I know the short block is tired though.

oh, and to answer your question about the pcv valve from Ford...It will definately work better. The aftermarket stuff doesn't tend to seat nearly as well as OEM.
