I was browsing around on the internet today was looking at some pictures of vintage Mustang engines. One of the things I noticed about most vintage Mustang engines is that the factory dipstick tube is primarily front mounted with a timing cover entry point. Would it be possible to modify an EFI timing cover to accept this type of dipstick tube? My future plans for the Cobra include an A/C delete, so I'll be rearranging the front accessories and losing the factory brackets. Do you think I would run into any problems with this setup (dipstick relocation, not the accessory rearrangement)? I'm mainly thinking of this so that I don't have to worry about routing the tube around/through my headers. I think eliminating that problem would be worth it if I could pull it off.
