dipstick tube How to get it in

Well....

I'm in the final stage of my headswap (I hope) and I can't seem to figure out how to get the dipstick tube back into the block. For lack of a better term, "I can't find the hole".

My ex use to complain about this all the time, seemed I kept trying to PIITB

Anyhow, if anyone has a picture or something that can help me get THE OIL TUBE in the ENGINE BLOCK, that would be great.

start it up and rev the engine, Im sure some oil will squirt out.

Found the hole, but can't figure out if it goes in between the first and second or second and third exhaust pipe on the header

Someone....anyone.....

Soak er in flour and find the wet spot!

Dont get a mini Van!

No luck. Going out there right now to put the finishing touches on everything else then mess with that again. Also, it looks like the coolant line for the tranny is busted So I gotta see if I can epoxy that, if not, back to ford I go. Gonna need help putting the hood on to if you can still swing by. Maybe you can get the dipstick tube in you dipstick!

you can put right in, i forgot to put the dipstick tube in when you're suppose to throw the head on. just takes some bending and giggling.

The easiest way to install the dipstick tube is to do it when you are putting the head on or remove the exhaust and put it on......It just doesn't go on easy with the head and exhaust already bolted on...........

cut it down and stick some rubber hose on it so you can have a cool new flex tube.
