Dipstick

Howdy! Need some help. I put a 7qt moroso oil pan on my 88 and I have Bbk shorty equal length header. What dipsticks work well with that. The one I bought is to short to get around the tubes. I appreciate the help.

Yes, it is in the same approximate location.

Well, a stock dipstick tube in the (approximate?) stock location should work, fill the engine with the appropriate amount of oil and see where it lands on the stock stick, that should give you a hint if a longer or shorter dipstick is needed.
Unless I'm missing something like the stock tube will not work with the headers or something like that.

The stock dip stock worked with the BBK equal lengths on my Coupe. Had to adjust it a little but no issues. Tapped and plugged the hole in the block when I went to a Canton 7qt road race pan due to that pan not utilizing the stock dip stick location.

I used the stock dipstick tube on my ‘86 with Bassani equal length headers.
