So how much power would direct injection add to the new 5.0 and V6? Already the steeda CAI and tune added 44hp and 59tq (total of 456hp and 449tq) at the crank on the 5.0.

I think strickly performance has direct injection and made upwards of 600 hp, and ran a 9 second pass.

Direct injection doesnt "make" more power. It just causes a very reduced likelyhood of pre detonation because it cools the charge. So it allows you to run more of an advanced and lean tune. I've seen local in person dyno results just from a SCT software dyno tune and it yielded 20rwhp and 26rwtq so even more than that.

very little extra power over open valve injection. it alows boosted motors to run very high compression and stratified injection.

the closer to stoich a mixture is, the faster it burns. richening slow flame travel, but stratified REALLY slows it. ultra lean mixtures have great detonation resistance. they require special combustion chamber dynamics to even burn.
