Direct port DRY nitrous? Can it be done?

Okay, so I've taken a big hook on the whole nitrous power-adder and I've always loved the idea of having/using it for that little 'push'.

So here's my idea:

Take off the lower intake manifold, and run steel brake line to each port for each cylinder via drilling holes in the lower intake manifold by each port. To get the nitrous to each port I would run it to a block which is where the nitrous line would go and the jet inside..

Any ideas/feedback? This is my first time really "rigging" something up as far as an idea and want to know what you guys think..

yes you can run a direct port like that--people have been doing it for a loooooonnnngggg time.

as for it being dry, try hitting up anderson ford. the only problem with running a big dry is that you need such a large injector that does not get used all the time and results in driveability issues.

imo if you are gonna do a direct port then do wet, i just don't trust a dry shot to do 250-300.

Because I'd like to make a really hidden setup.
It wont really be hidden either way, they will both have hoses all over the place, the only difference would be the spacer. Plus you cna take the spacer off if you ever need to.

it can be done there is a tech article on a site of which i cant remember every thing is hidden they put 5lb bottle in pass. door, they ran the wires and hoses through the door grommet under dash to driver side, they used the vaccum lines to feed the engine, they have a step by step process. if i had to use happy juice thats how i would hook it up.:D

There is a write up in the current "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords" they hid all the lines and put a 5# bottle in the door. Used the rear window defroster circuit to arm it and a microswitch on the pedal to activate it. Got 66hp that was "hidden". I don't like that they published it, cause every guy out there is going to know what to look for on Saturday night. :(

Dry kit in your lower equals kaboom.

The computer wont know to add extra fuel, OR, you'll be running extremely rich anytime your off the gas.

If you had a PMS it would be able to activate nitrous tables to add the fuel when u activated the nitrous thus eliminating that problem. Im not sure what other tuners can do this, but just thought i'd throw that out there.

But besides that, how does the zex kit work or any dry kit for that matter get the added fuel? I thought the zex kit used the fuel regulator to add more fuel...
