I'm going back and forth about the 4 wheel disc swap/wheel combo for my '68 Highland Green Coupe. It currently has 15" Magnum 500s over non-power 4 wheel drums. It is set up with a very healthy 302, T-5z, 9" w/3.89's, but the brakes, wheels, and suspension need an updating - bad. My plan:

- 17x8 Wheel Vintiques Magnum 500's (dearbornclassics.com has them for $279 each - best price I've found)
- MustangSteve '03 4-wheel Cobra brake setup - the 13"/11.65" rotors need 17s to clear - non-power
- Shelby drop and GW full suspension

I've heard nothing but good things about the MustangSteve swap, but haven't been able to find a real-world, start-to-finish cost for the swap that includes all parts (for all four corners, I'm guessing $1500+/-). On the other hand, if I get negative responses about the Cobra swap, I'm leaning toward the SSBC Force 10 for all four corners - even though it will be a little more pricey - and go with 16x8 Magnum 500s, also from dearbornclassics.com.

I would appreciate it a ton if someone could post pics of their '67/'68 with the mentioned suspension/wheel swaps so I can get an idea of the look/stance. If ya got TTII's, I'll look at that also (I can still be tempted, that's a timeless look...)

Thanks in advance - I'm not new here, just forgot my old name/password and had to re-register...
