disentigrated

i know im posting this on the wrong thead but i got a 91lx 5.o thats been moded out. i had a heavy duty clutch in it that started slipping, (not sure what brand but it had valeo all over it) so i replaced it with a ram peace, (the whole set) but i was slammin gears pretty hard last nite and it went pop a loud pop almost a bang, so i pulled it down this morning and to my surprise yhe disc was disentigrated on the pressure plate side. so my question is has any one had this happen with a new hd clutch set. so if this is what i get for beatin on it im more happy then mad cause that will mean ill need a heavier duty peice right?

the part number is ram-88794hd and what are some oppinions on ram sets

if its the clutch i would recommend switcing to Centerforce or Mcloed

did you get the flywheel machined so the disk meshes with the flywheel? i was taught by alot of my friends to do that when you do a clutch swap. valeo is the stock heavy duty clutch used on 5.0's. i know mine was valeo.

yea i think i may go with a fidenza i know a little pricey but heard they were the s**t
