Guys Im supposed to be picking up an 8.8 tomorrow but I dont know how to identify them. I know the general looks are different but is there any part I could measure and compare to a 7.5?
8.8 is on the top and as you can see the 7.5 is flat on the top where as the 8.8 is completely round. 7.5's don't handle very much power at all so don't settle for one. I blew a 7.5 with 3.73 gears in a couple of months in my hotrod with a stock 302 .
