Distributor help

Just remember with your roller cam engine you need a steel gear on the distributor. I am putting my 'Stang's old engine into a 92 F-150 and doing a carb conversion. I got an MSD distributor with a steel gear and mechanical advance. I don't remember what the part # is off the top of my head. The '85 Mustang manual trans car distributor also used a steel gear and had a roller cam with a carb. Unfortunately you can't just use an older distributor. When Ford went to the steel gear, it increased the diameter of the distributor shaft and the steel gear will not properly fit on the older distributors.
