heres the problem
i finally get around to putting my engine together and notice that my MSD distributor (model MSD-8580) has clearence issues with my victor jr intake. it looks to me as if the diameter of the housing is to big. it turns out MSD makes a special dizzy that is supposed to be used with a Vic Jr (model MSD-85805). does anyone in here use a vic jr carburator intake? if so, what dizzy do you guys use. I also have an MSD ignition box so it must be compatable with that.
what do you guys think of this distributor Summit SUM-850072 - Summit Racing Street & Strip® Billet Distributors do you think it will have the same clearance problems as the MSD one.
also what type of advance do i want, mechanical or vacuum? i plan on racing, but also crusing on the weekends. any help would be great.
