As talked about in a previous thread, it seems that my PIP sensor has up and bit the dust. I'm going the whole new distributor route and the distributor I have taken a liking too says it's for manual transmission equipped cars. I have an AODE. Is Jegs just retarded? That's the only website that mentions anything tranny specific. No other websites or info I have seen say anything about auto/manual trannys.

Sounds to me like they're retarded. There is no difference between distributors on manual or AODE cars.

Apparently my ex-husband made that mistake.

Be careful that it is actually for a 95' Mustang with original fuel injection. Sometimes parts come up listed for a Mustang simply because they fit on a 302 engine. I've seen distributers come up on on Jegs and Summit with vacuum advances on them listed for a Mustang. Are you looking for a recommendation on a distributer or do you already have your mind made up.

Car Part Wholesale - Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - Accel Distributor - Billitech - Billet aluminum

This is the one I'm leaning towards. New, not reman, like suggested. And a nice price, compared to Jegs or Summit.

Accel generally makes a good product, but I have no personal experience with that one. So I guess that makes you the test dummy. If that one works well and lasts a long time, please let us know.
